Maintenance of your renovated driveway or patio
Once we have transformed your driveway or patio then you should take into account the following guidelines to maintain its look:
1, As much as possible keep the area free from debris that may be detrimental to the performance of the applied sealers, which can be done by regular sweeping or a soft hosing down of the area on regular occasions.
2, If any algal growth is noticed, we would like you to use the supplied block blitz solution as per instructions to minimise the risk of spreading. Algal growth is moisture borne and cannot be always avoided.
3, Any sanding done between blocks or cobbles can from time to time wear away from natural weathering. If this occurs please only use the sand left with you in your care package and brush in very lightly to any affected areas.
4, If the occasion arises where you may get motor oil on your treated substrate please wash down immediately with soapy water and a small application of the block blitz solution in your care package will stop this from staining the area.
5, If any weeds appear in the area renovated it is of utmost importance that you apply a weed killer at your earliest opportunity. This should not occur if you sweep your driveway regularly as to not allow the spores to settle and germinate.
